Cultural Resource Consulting Group's Phase IB-II Cultural Resource Investigation undertaken on behalf of Conectiv Power Delivery recommended a series of mitigations in order to counteract the physical and visual effects of the company's transmission line upgrade on cultural resources. Among these resources was the Garden State Parkway, which had previously been determined eligible for National Register listing, and whose landscape was to be adversely affected by the project. In order to mitigate these effects, the New Jersey Historic Preservation Office specified the creation of a website that would celebrate the history and historical significance of the Garden State Parkway. Serving as project manager and editor, Gregory led the team to produce the website, Garden State Parkway: A Historic Journey, as a means of educating the public about this widely travelled yet largely under-appreciated cultural resource.
